Q. When can I expect to receive my order?
A. All shipments are made F.O.B. our plant (Rochester, NY). Most orders are shipped via UPS or Common Carrier for oversize orders.
In stock orders normally ship via UPS Ground within 3 to 5 business days unless expedited services or another carrier are requested.
Please refer to the UPS map at left to determine shipping times from Rochester, NY.
Should the item you order not be in stock we will notify you of the back-order on our morning Order Verification send. There is always an option to cancel your order for a full refund on any stock product. Some items such as Esco tubing have a notice saying non-cancellable due to long lead times. We will also notify you of an approximate back order shipping date to give you full disclosure in making this decision.
Q. Do the above shipping estimates also apply to custom fabricated products such as a special order plastic tray?
A. Our fabrication department is good but unfortunately not that good! Custom fabricated products run approximately 4 to 6 weeks from actual order date. All custom fabrication quotes include an approximate lead time and also a non-cancelable notice as this part is being made for only you.
Q. What time must my order be placed for next business day shipment?
A. We try to ship available stock from our Rochester, NY warehouse within three to five business days for all orders placed before 3pm EST Monday through Thursday and by noon on Fridays.
Q. Do you accept RUSH orders for same day shipment?
A. When stock is available we would accommodate a request for same day shipment on orders placed before noon EST Monday through Thursday and by 10:30am on Fridays. Your order must be marked for RUSH Same Day shipment in the order notes.
Q. Does Dynalon offer any free freight?
B. From time to time we offer free freight on domestic orders over $250 in product cost shipping ground tranportation. Notificaiton is sent to current customers advising when promotional periods are active.
Q. Does Dynalon have a minimum order value?
B. Yes, our minimum order value is $25 in product cost (prior to freight). If your order does not reach this amount please visit our Clearance page to add that special holiday gift you've been looking for everywhere!
Q. What are Dynalon's payment terms?
A. Dynalab Corp. / Dynalon Labware accepts most major credit cards; Visa, Master Card, Discover or AMEX. Existing customers with credit terms can pay by Purchase Order. New Dynalon customers requiring payment terms can set up an account by
downloading the Credit Application. Please e-mail the completed form to
[email protected]. Upon approval you will be assigned a customer number and given a credit limit.
Q. Can I establish Dynalon credit terms?
A. Yes, established D&B rated firms purchasing over $5,000, in any given year may apply for terms by supplying 3 references and your bank information. This process takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on how quickly your references respond. A request doesn't guarantee approval. The form can be downloaded from our registration screen.
Q. Are Dynalon's products California Proposition 65 compliant?
A. California Proposition 65 (CA Prop 65), which is officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 requires certain warnings relative to certain substances known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
CA Prop 65 does not restrict the sale of products containing chemicals on the CA Prop 65 list of harmful substances. Not all of Dynalon's items are CA Prop 65 compliant. For the non-compliant items we have placed the appropriate message on our website reflecting the chemical in question. These same items also ship clearly labeled with same message. An example of this warning can be seen on our Beta Shields web page.
Q. Are there Certificates of Compliance available for Dynalon Labware items?
A. Yes there are C of C's for any product that we either manufacture or resell. Eventually these will all be added to our website for immediate download but at this time you should contact [email protected] stating our part number requiring certification. Please note that the majority of our lab supplies are on-sterile and therefore not lot controlled.
Q. What is Dynalon's minimum for getting bottles silk screened or labeled?
A. 500 is our minimum quantity for single color silk screening*. Normal turn is 3 weeks from placement of valid PO and artwork approval if stock is available.
B. 1,000 is the minimum quantity for multiple color silk screening as it is completed at the UK manufacturer.
* We can print smaller quantities and the increase in price will be reflected in the quote.
Q. I'm a large user, can I get additional discounts from Dynalon?
A. Discounts are available on large volumes to OEM's and large volume end users. Please
